Helping Children in Allergy Season

HELPING CHILDREN IN ALLERGY SEASON
Breakthrough research helps rid the body of toxins aggravating allergies

While other kids enjoyed summer vacations with their grandparents Neil Adams was in the emergency room again fighting to breathe. For Neil there was no possibility of visiting his grandparent’s farm – he had asthma and a severe allergy to horses.

This month is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month. For children like Neil May heralds the beginning of yet another season of sneezes, wheezes, itches and side effects from the medication that costs parents millions of dollars.

“If Neil got near a horse he would flare up in seconds. We would have to rush him home for a hot shower, drugs and rest,” said Neil’s mother Judy. “But Neil loved horses – he wished he could spend time on the farm and learn to ride.”

By the time Neil was two years old he was already on allergy medication and two inhalers. His breathing was the focus of the entire family.

With asthma reaching epidemic proportions in children under the age of five, and allergies affecting as many as 40 to 50 million in the US, it certainly is time to take a closer look at the failure of traditional solutions to alleviate the suffering of these children.

“Neil became nervous and out of control at home and in school,” said his mother Judy. “His teachers wanted to put him on Ritalin – family members had no patience with him. I had to explain that he was just reacting to the medication and show them the list of side effects!”

71 percent of teachers say they are seeing more children with these kinds of health problems than ever before. Parents are puzzled because their children do not seem to remember things and behavior problems like Neil’s are becoming common.

Could pollution and toxins in our environment be causing these problems? According to Doris J. Rapp, M.D., a leading specialist in Environmental Medicine, our environment is causing a growing number of children to be sick.

The air, food, water, homes, and schools are polluted with over seventy thousand chemicals. And when these toxins get trapped in the fatty tissue, the intensity of reaction can range from mild to very severe.

In his book Clear Body, Clear Mind, L. Ron Hubbard’s breakthrough research shows that pollutants and toxins are being stored in the fatty tissue of the body for long periods of time - and that this has a significant effect on our health - both mental and physical.

“The effects of these chemicals in the body are often more severe on children,” said Dr. Megan Shields M.D., who spoke at the First International Conference on Chemical Contamination and Human Detoxification in Los Angeles.

“I had tried everything with Neil,” said Judy. “Traditional medicine, homeopathy and chiropractic – nothing helped him. Then I heard about the program outlined in Clear Body, Clear Mind, and it made so much sense ”

As soon as she could Judy put Neil on the purification program outlined in the book. “Neil has not had an asthma attack since,” said Judy with relief. “Its three years since he did the program and almost all his allergies have been relieved.”

The program has undergone ten independent scientific studies documenting the program's safety and effectiveness. It is a carefully balanced combination of moderate aerobic exercise, vitamin and mineral supplementation and intermittent sauna to eliminate the toxins from the body through sweating.

“After I completed the program I was very anxious to see how I had improved,” said Neil. “I went to visit my grandparents on their farm and my grandma asked me to help her saddle her horse.” Neil had no reaction, so he saddled up too and rode with her for four hours!

“When we came back I washed down the horses – something I had never been able to do before,” said Neil excitedly.

Back at school that year Neil’s grades shot up and Judy was no longer receiving the constant calls about his health or behavior. Neil is now an active 6'3" freshman in High School getting A's, B's and C's.

“I was recently invited to learn to rope calves and ride western with the 3-time national calf roping champion,” said Neil – “Dreams do come true after all!”
